We are partnering with a school in the Tower City, Pennsylvania area to find afull-time, onsite, school-basedOccupational Therapist (OT). We are seeking a kind and caring candidatewho wants to work with kids of all levels and satisfies the requirements listed below:
Requirements:
- Must have an active Pennsylvania OT License
- Must have Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Must be licensed through the Pennsylvania Board
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
Position Details:
- Current School Year
- Full time: up to 40 hours a week
- Caseload: K - 12th grade, specific caseload details will be discussed during the interview process
- Pay Range: $30 - $50 per hour, depending on previous experience
Daily Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' fine motor skills, sensory integration, visual-motor coordination, self-care abilities, and functional performance.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, setting goals and objectives that address students' specific needs.
- Provide individual and group occupational therapy sessions to students, implementing evidence-based interventions to improve their functional abilities.
